Prof Music Production is bringing to you the first of its kind, an entrepreneurship seminar on Music and Business set out to impart some skills and knowledge to the youth at large on ways to work with their talents, and be able to generate a blissful living from them.

In an interview with the manager of Prof Music Production and the brain behind the upcoming entrepreneurship seminar, he opened up briefly on what sparked up this whole great idea.

Im happy 50% of us here are pursuing music education as a career at the tertiary level. Although some are not pursuing it, but it acts as a source of income for most. Therefore there’s the need for us to learn how best we can make a glorious living from the great talents we have.

“The thought of we loosing some great talents that could have worked out and made glorious living for the individual and society but because they lacked or were deprived of the proper nurturing and directions they needed, hence they ‘got wasted or die out’ glooms my heart”, he added.

Finding a solution to this bugging issue, I’ll like to present a business training to the young maestros and to individuals in the line of choral and classic on how to effectively make music our business. Not just business but to build our entrepreneurial skills as well.

To add to the lot, he said, “Its very important in our cycle to know how to plan for the future and work towards It effectively!”.

Everyone of us can make a good living out of our talents but it all depends on your attitude and how effective you’ll work towards it.

Talent that doesn’t bring you money is a Hobby!

ALL ABOUT THE SING ONCE, PRAY TWICE PROJECT – (a meditation on hymns).

The sing once, pray twice project is all built around the age-old adage, “He who sings, prays twice”

In an interview with Nii Akpor Botchway, the brain behind this project, he threw more light on the inspiration behind the project titled “Sing once, pray twice”.

I figured that sometimes we sing without understanding the words, often just enjoying the music. So i asked myself, “if we sing solely for enjoying the music, have we indeed prayed twice”….my answer was no.

I also noticed that most hymns and their meaning seemed to scale towards the biography of the author and not the meaning of the hymn (not to say the bio isn’t important at all)

He added also that, the project seeks to take hymns within various concepts in Christianity and explain them.

A new dimension to hymns in a meditative form.

Area of focus are;
1. The inspiration
2. The meaning of the lyrics to the author at the time of composition and
3. The meaning to us today.

PHARMA PRAISE THIS YEAR WAS A BLAST WITH THE GREEN DAY BAND OF PMP – see photos.

PMP’s live band “Green Day Band” was present at this year’s Pharma Praise held on the 20th of April 2018.

Pharma Praise is a program organised every second semester of the year by the Pharmacy Christian Fellowship school of pharmacy, University of Ghana.

Its one of their biggest programmes where they invite their alumni and everyone else to join them praise God in singing dancing, drama and spoken word.

This year they had PMP’s live band “Green Day Band” on their bill.

In an interview with Ms. Araba Wallace, She gave good credits on the performance of the band.

In a Nutshell, the Band was just wonderful. They delivered to our satisfaction and we don’t regret having them on, on Pharma Praise.

From the Pharmacy Christian Fellowship they say a very big thank you to the whole team who made the programme a success and also to those who were in charge of the lighting.

MARIAN VOICES ALBUM LAUNCH – with PMP.

Marian voices had the opportunity to enjoy the services of PMP when they contracted us for their album launch on the 18th of March 2018, which was a great success!

The album was launched at the “hymns and spoken word” programme.

In an interview with Mr. Daniel Shubert, the choir master, he opened up a little about Marian voices.

Marian voices was formed 23 years ago in Saint. Stephens Catholic Church, Darkuman. Started with a few number of people but currently has 34 members. The choir is under the leadership of Mr. Peter As are as the president with is abled supporting executives and also Mr. Daniel Binah as Music Director.

“There has been so many challenges when they began, he stated, but that didn’t break their bones as much persistence in their quest to propagate the gospel through singing brought them success in a long run and its been on till date”.

He again added, “One success record is their yearly concert dubbed ‘Higher Praise’ in 2017 and since then it’s been held at every last quarter of the year which would be staged in the last quarter of this year also”.

Interviewer: “How was your experience working with PMP on your album launch?”

“So far so Good!. PMP has been the best and the number one when it comes to perfect and quality sound. It was our first Album launch so far and we never regret choosing PMP to be on it. We were given more than we expected. The best of everything! and to our satisfaction. – he concluded

PMP IS A YEAR OLD TODAY! HURRAY! – Celebrating our One Year Anniversary and a New Month greetings to all our Cherised Clients.(See photos and video).

When it all started it felt like something small with no vibe but involving God changed the whole story. We had greater visions and had a strong will to soar higher.

It was on this day this great music production was born in to the great lands and since then it’s been progress upon progress and we give all thanks and praises to the Great Man up there for holding us through it all.

“How the name ‘PROF MUSIC PRODUCTION’ came about till now I still can’t make it out”, manager of PMP said in an interview.

He added, “I believe the name was inspired by God and we keeping it”.

It’s exactly one year and we are grateful for what the good Lord has done. Though we had challenges we overcame them and we still soaring to greater heights to achieve our mission.
